Aced vs Absolute

Absolute Poker

Deposit Bonus

Aced Poker: 100% up to $500 on all first-time deposits. $5 increments will clear at the rate of 1,250 VIP points accumulation. A 60-day time limit is attached to this bonus. To receive this bonus, use Bonus Code ACED100 when you register and deposit at Aced Poker.

Vs.

Absolute Poker: 150% bonus up to $500 on all initial deposits. $1 of your bonus will clear when you’ve earned 20 points, and you will receive your bonus in $5 installments every time you accumulate 100 Absolute Poker Points. A 60-day expiration date applies. Use bonus code AP500 when you deposit to get this deal.

Verdict: In many ways, these bonuses are comparable; however, Absolute offers a better percentage back and seems to clear more quickly.

Promotions

Aced Poker: Aced Poker offers monthly promotions and static promotions such as the Aced Outs program, the Royal Flush Bonus, and others, as well as satellites and other popular tournament promotions.

Vs.

Absolute Poker: The leaderboard challenges get everyone going at Absolute because they payout millions in cash prizes, and all you have to do to win is play poker. In addition, Absolute offers a Bad Beat Jackpot, an Online Blackjack Points Race, reload bonuses, and the Million Chip Hall of Fame, as well as rotating promotional events and satellites.

Verdict: Both Aced and Absolute are about the same in terms of promotions.

Software

Aced Poker: Merge Gaming’s online poker platform that supports Aced Poker is a shared skin that is used by other online poker rooms including Carbon Poker. This ensures that there is plenty of traffic to fill the tables. This software is feature-rich, while at the same time, easy to use. Up to four tables can be played at the same time. Other online poker rooms do have more impressive graphics and overall style design; however, Aced Poker is perfectly acceptable for the basic needs of most online poker players with smooth action and plenty of options. Unfortunately, no flash poker room is available for Mac users.

Vs.

Absolute Poker: Absolute Poker offers a state-of-the-art gaming platform with tons of extras and game analysis tools like instant hand replay, the time bank, and the rabbit cam. Not only is this software complex, it’s easy to navigate. Multi-tabling capabilities can run up to 14 tables at a time with swift transition from table to table. The graphics are crisp and refreshing. This poker room does not offer a Mac-compatible flash poker room.

Verdict: Absolute has the better software in terms of quality and multi-tabling; however, neither is suitable for Mac play.

Tournaments

Aced Poker: Aced Poker hosts such tournaments as Freezeouts, Shootouts, Bounties, Deepstacks, and satellites, as well as their own unique styles, the Flipament and Blitzkrieg tournaments. They also host a weekly $50K Sunday Guaranteed with daily satellite feeders running throughout each week.

Vs.

Absolute Poker: At Absolute Poker, there are a lot of players, and the supply and demand factor really works overtime here, though the demand often outweighs the supply. Every weekend, though, Absolute Poker offers more than $250K in guaranteed cash prize tournaments.

Verdict: Because Aced is fed by Carbon Poker, there are a lot more tournaments running at any given time than at Absolute Poker. Absolute’s daily and weekly tournament schedule just isn’t that impressive.

Games

Aced Poker: Texas Hold 'em, Omaha and Hi/Lo, Stud and Hi/Lo, 5-Card Stud, Triple Draw, Badugi, Razz, 5-Card Draw, HORSE, and other mixed games.

Vs.

Absolute Poker:  Texas Hold ‘em, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, 7-Card Stud and Hi/Lo, Razz, and HORSE.

Verdict: Aced Poker offers a better variety of game selection and has better availability of mixed games and mixed game tournaments. Absolute offers a limited number of HORSE tournaments and no other mixed games at all.

Points

Aced Poker: Four-tiered Swagger VIP program rewards 1 point for every $0.10 paid in tourney fees and for cash game participation, as well, depending on the specs of the game. You can exchange your points for cash, tournament seats, and Aced Poker merchandise that include electronics and other items.

Vs.

Absolute Poker: Absolute’s FAME loyalty rewards program gives loyal players points for playing cash games and paying tournament fees. This is a status-based system that awards different benefits depending on your status. Points can be redeemed for cash.

Verdict: These two loyalty structures are equivalent, for the most part, though you will probably find more to do with your points at Aced.

Traffic

Aced Poker: up to 3,000 players

Absolute Poker: ±20,000

Verdict: Absolute is a great deal larger than Aced, but Aced Poker is much more detail-oriented in terms of the individual player. However, Absolute is nice because it’s not small, but it’s not massive either.

Rake

Aced Poker: contributed

Vs.

Absolute: contributed

Verdict: Comparable.

Rakeback

Aced Poker: 30%

Vs.

Absolute Poker: 30%

Verdict: Comparable. Both offer rakeback at the same rate.

Deposit Options

Aced Poker: VISA, Click2Pay, NETeller, ClickandBuy, eWalletXpres, moneybookers, ECO, Fonelinx, EntroPay, pic-club, ACH e-check, and Wire Transfer.

Vs.

Absolute Poker: Credit cards, Delta, Solo, NETeller, ClickandBuy, paysafecard, moneybookers, Poli, postepay, iDeal, CartaSi, giropay, postepay, Fast bank transfer, and many others.

Verdict: Both Absolute and Aced Poker have a decent variety of online payment transfer methods. Aced offers e-checks, which many US players prefer, though Absolute has some more atypical options for players who have trouble with other common payment methods.

Support

Aced Poker: 24/7 online form submission and email address.

Vs.

Absolute Poker: Online FAQ-style help section and email address.

Verdict: Comparable.
