2010 World Series of Poker Main Event Champion Jonathan Duhamel has been proving his poker chops as of late, having won an EPT High-Roller tournament in Deauville, France and following that up with a Final Four run in the NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship tournament. Duhamel was also one of four players to make it through to the final table of the $10,000 Bounty Shootout tournament at the Bicycle Casino yesterday, guaranteeing himself $40,000, plus picking up four $2,000 bounties thus far.

The three players who will be advancing to Saturday’s final table along with Duhamel include Pat Walsh, Alex Keating and Shane Schleger. They will have to wait for Day 1b’s four finalist to be determined today.

Some of the big names that took part in yesterday’s flight included Jose “Nacho” Barbero, Scott Clements, Shaun Deeb, Bertrand “ElkY” Grosspellier, MLB All-Star Orel Hershisier, Faraz “The Toilet” Jaka, Kathy Liebert, Chris Moneymaker, William Reynolds, Scott Seiver, Vladimir Shchemelev, Jennifer Tilly, and David Williams.

The final table bounties will be increased from $2,000 to $10,000 for each elimination and each player making the final table will be guaranteed $40,000 – from there the tournament will be played as a winner-take-all event with the champion pocketing $171,700.

Notable entrants set to play on Day 1b include Daniel Alaei, Chad Brown, Olivier Busquet, Chau Giang, Barry Greenstein, John Hennigan, Tom Marchese, Jason Mercier, Daniel Negreanu, Dennis Phillips, The Big Event champion Viktor Ramdin, Vanessa Rousso, and Justin “Boosted J” Smith.
