Sunday Majors 5/22: Big Weekend for SCOOP and PokerStars

The list of Sunday majors is again missing some of its primary components due to the PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP). The series was in its last weekend, though, running the final of its 38 events (114 tournaments) with the last of the NLHE tournaments, including the three levels of the Main Event finishing on Monday, May 23.
Big events like the Sunday Warm-Up and Sunday Million will be back on the Stars lineup next weekend, and until then, there were a few tournaments on the May 22nd schedule that qualified as the “majors.” The biggest of them was the $750K Guarantee on Full Tilt Poker, which offered an overlay for the players and awarded more than $123K to its winner.
