How massive was Victor Ramdin’s chip-lead heading into Day 3 of The Big Event at the Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles? Well, even though he only increased his chip-stack by about 60% on Day 3, Ramdin still holds the chip-lead heading into Day 4!

In addition to Ramdin, a number of top poker pros are still in the mix for the $500,000 first-place prize-money, including online poker tournament legend, and Brunson 10 member Alex “AJKHoosiers” Kamberis, 2005 WSOP Champion Joe Hachem, and David Baker.

Here is a look at the Top 10 chip counts heading into Day 4 of The Big Event:

1.    Victor Ramdin 1,600,000
2.    Taylor von Kriegenbergh 1,213,000
3.    James Dowdy 1,132,000
4.    Wade Townsend 1,108,000
5.    Fab Gonzalez 907,000
6.    Alex Kamberis 814,000
7.    David Paredes 745,000
8.    Joe Hachem 610,000
9.    Jaime Kaplan 603,000
10.    Romik Vartzar 569,000

The Big Event was originally going to be a PokerStars NAPT tournament, but a last minute decision by PokerStars saw them withdraw their sponsorship of the event after talking with the California Gaming Commission. The withdrawal of the NAPT brand cost the tournament in terms of attendance –last year’s NAPT Los Angeles event attracted over 700 players while this time around The Big Event attracted just over 400 players– but a number of poker stars still turned out for the tournament.

Day 4 of The Big Event will kick-off on Wednesday as the final 22 players play down to the final table.
