Everest Poker is an established online poker site that, unfortunately, is not currently supporting the Ubuntu operating system. In addition, the site does not offer an Instant Play version of their software, which further prevents those with alternative operating systems from accessing Everest Poker. However, Ubuntu users can install an emulation program and the Windows version of Everest Poker. Though some glitches may occur, this is currently the only way to play Everest Poker Ubuntu.

Installing Everest Poker Ubuntu

In order to install Everest Poker Ubuntu, you'll first need to prepare your computer by installing Wine. Wine is a popular, open-source, free emulation program that allows Ubuntu users to install and use Windows applications while staying within the Ubuntu operating system. Wine is easy to install, and virtually any competent Ubuntu user will be able to complete the process in minutes.

• 1. Launch Synaptic.
• 2. Under the Settings section, click on Repositories.
• 3. Click on Universe to make sure that it is enabled.
• 4. Perform a search for keyword "Wine."
• 5. Click on Wine to prepare it for installation.
• 6. Click on Apply.
• 7. Wine will now download to your Ubuntu computer. The process should take less than a few minutes with a broadband connection.
• 8. Wine should install itself immediately after downloading. If given the option to save Wine to a specific location, choose the Applications folder.

Feel free to open Wine to familiarize yourself with its interface. At this point, you should be ready to download and install the Windows version of Everest Poker. This process is also quite simple.

• 1. Visit EverestPoker.com using any web browser.
• 2. Click the Download link found in the upper left area of the screen.
• 3. Double click the Everest Poker installer after the download completes.
• 4. Save the Everest Poker application under the Wine folder in Applications.

Once you create an account with Everest Poker, you'll be ready to start playing poker for real money.
