Lock Poker Ubuntu Software Features

Once you finish installing Wine and Lock Poker Ubuntu, you'll have access to all of the same features enjoyed by Lock Poker players on Windows computers. In addition, you'll be able to play all of the real money game types offered by Lock Poker, including Holdem, Omaha, Omaha Hi Lo, 5 Card Draw, 5 Card Joker, 5 Card Stud, HORSE, Razz, Badugi, 7 Card Stud, 7 Card Stud Hi Lo, and Deuce 7 Low Ball. Some of the software features found at Lock Poker Ubuntu include:

  • Advanced multi tabling with automatic window organization
  • Player accolades for tournament wins
  • Immediate seating with Quick Start, based on game preferences
  • Deal It Twice, allowing two all-in players to see two versions of the turn and river before a showdown
  • Player Tags to denote opponent skill level
  • Hand History
  • Poker Statistics

Occasionally, Lock Poker Ubuntu players complain about minor lags and animation glitches. By and large, these glitches are a minor annoyance, and do not affect poker performance. Unfortunately, Lock Poker does not officially support the Ubuntu OS in any ways. This means that you'll need to resolve technical errors by changing preferences in Wine and Ubuntu, as opposed to the Lock Poker software. Generally, Lock Poker Ubuntu users feel that this is a small price to pay in exchange for the opportunity to use a full-featured poker program.
