After becoming the winningest player of March, Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond continued his dominant reign over the high stakes online poker tables a few nights ago when he earned almost $350k playing Pot Limit Omaha at Full Tilt Poker.

Galfond engaged in 1,459 hands over the course of the night at the $300 / $600 stake level. The Cardrunners founder managed to stay ahead of all competitors at a 6-Max PLO table that included some of the most elite high stakes grinders in the world. Gus Hansen, Tom “durrrr” Dwan, gavz101, skjervoy, URnotINdanger2 and Rui Cao all made appearances in a session that railbirds typically only dream about.

Despite the incredible competition, Maryland resident Galfond got his money in at exactly the right times for a huge victory. One of the most incredible hands included Galfond flopping trip aces and then improving to four of a kind on the river, earning him a massive $134k pot from gavz101.

Following the 6-Max games, Galfond engaged in a huge heads up PLO match against Gus Hansen at the $300 / $600 stake level. Galfond ended up taking $250k from the Great Dane, repeating the outcome of a heads up session the two took part in late last month. It appears as though Galfond could be replacing Hansen as the most prominent force in online poker, at least for now.

To date, Galfond is positive by almost $1 million for the year. He was negative by roughly the same amount only a month ago.

Rui Cao also displayed an impressive performance, earning $299k and making him profitable for the year (if only by $50k) for the year once again. Scott “URnotINdanger2″ Palmer used the momentum he gathered from his SuperStar Showdown win over Isildur1 to book impressive wins on both Full Tilt and PokerStars, earning $185k and $76k respectively.

The biggest losers of the night include Dwan (down $62k), gavz101 (down $70k), NoPasaran (down $158k) and Gus Hansen (down $238k).
