Kinglake reopens to public after closure date

hello

The Lakeview District School Board is reopening Thursday morning after it was closed for a month due to a power outage.

The district reopened in November 2016, less than a month after the closure date for two water system shutdowns. The district will receive two $20 million upgrades for the network this year.

“It’s been so long that the equipment has not been in the right state of repair and it’s been very expensive,” district Superintendent Richard Smith said. “The equipment is back up and running.”

The power failure, which took about two minutes to fix, took down more than 200 electronic valves, but left an estimated $100,000 in repair costs for the district. Some of the equipment, including pumps, has still not been r바카라esold because the original contractor decid더킹카지노ed it was not worth the expense, Smith said.

After getting a second opinion from a state official, including the University of Illinois-Chicago Center for Energy and Materials Solutions (CEMIS), the district will begin sending out $70,000 worth of new equipment, Smith said.

“I’m glad it is being done quickly,” he said. “The equipment needs to be returned for reuse. If the repair does not happen in time, we’ll be going to the local electrical supplier to do repairs, but we think we can still do this as a school.”

The district will host a panel discussion at 7 p.m. Friday afternoon, during which staff members will share the project progress, and invite community members to join the discussions with the district.

“This wasn’tnatyasastra.com just a water system,” Smith said. “It had to be made to a state of greater repair.”

The district will replace equipment that was on the ground for years in the district’s water systems, Smith said.

A full budget for this year’s capital budget was not announced.

The Illinois Department of Transportation’s (IDOT) emergency response team will work Friday afternoon with representatives from Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) agencies to assist the district in the maintenance of the Lakeview district’s water system.

Information on the Lakeview district water system’s maintenance schedule, including an updated forecast for the current, historic flooding pattern, was included in the budget for this year’s fiscal year, 2016-17.
