Installing UB Poker Mac
Unlike some poker sites that claim to be Mac-friendly but only offer Instant Play software that runs in a browser, UB Poker Mac is designed specifically for Mac OS X. By following a few simple steps, you can get UB Poker Mac up and running on your computer in just a few minutes.
- 1. Direct your browser to UB.com.
- 2. Click the blue Download link located in the upper left corner of the page.
- 3. Click poker chip in the middle of the next page under the heading Download - Play Poker Now.
- 4. A .zip file containing the UB Poker software will download to your computer, and a new desktop window will open. Drag the UB Poker icon to the Applications folder.
- 5. In your Applications folder, double click the UB Poker icon. UB Poker will launch and automatically download any necessary updates. From here, you'll only need to create a UB Poker Mac user account. You'll then be ready to play for real money at UB Poker Mac.
UB Poker Mac System Requirements
UB Poker Mac offers very lenient system requirements, allowing virtually anyone with a Mac manufactured in the last several years to access the software. System requirements are as follows:

Differences between UB Poker Mac and UB Poker Windows
Although UB Poker Mac does provide a satisfactory real money poker experience, it does have fewer features than the Windows version of UB Poker. UB Poker Mac does include multitabling, with up to 3 cash game tables, 5 tournament tables and single player blackjack running simultaneously. Comparatively, the PC version allows up to 20 table multitabling with tiling and cascading table views. In addition, UB Poker Windows offers tournaments for game types such as Razz, Stud and Omaha. UB Poker Mac only offers Texas Holdem tournaments, though Mac users are able to access all of the cash game types at UB Poker Mac. A couple of other features are missing as well:
- Hot key options
- Alternate table views
Despite these minor shortcomings, UB Poker Mac allows Mac users to play directly against fellow Mac users, as well as the large Windows user base at UB Poker. This makes UB Poker Mac one of the most attractive Mac poker packages online.
